Windmill Hill 2017

On Friday 2nd June, 44 Year 5 and 6 children, along with 5 members of staff, travelled from Chesham all the way down to Windmill Hill which is in East Sussex, about 10 miles north of Eastbourne and 5 miles inland from the south coast of England. We had a lovely clean coach - before we started anyway - and before it broke down - we stopped for lunch at Norton Caines services. But finally we arrived at Windmill Hill!

It was a beautiful place set in acres of space with rabbits running freely everywhere! We stayed in log cabins.

Here we are walking up for tea and then enjoying games in the sports hall afterwards.

The good weather continued the whole weekend long - here we are in Brighton - on the beach - on the British Airways I360 - down in the sewers (Yuk!) - back on the beach for lunch under attack from seagulls and finally in the sea life Centre.

In the evening we had Wacky Races .... no comment can possibly explain these pictures!

And so on to Thorpe Park where we had the wettest, scariest & fastest rides I've ever seen! Fidget spinners entertained us on the way there and we were so tired on the way home!

Our final night gathered around the campfire - pizzahuts - mini mini mini - penguins salute - and best of all - smoke gets in your eyes! Got a bit chilly on night patrol later on though!
