Religious Education is broadly Christian in character but includes elements from other faiths. Care is taken not to teach anything that might offend any particular denomination. Parents have the right to withdraw a child from all or part of religious worship or instruction, as laid down in section 25 of the Education Act 1944. We follow the agreed syllabus for Religious Education and world religions are introduced to the children.
