LUNCH MENU
School dinners are prepared on our premises, however children may bring packed lunches. We encourage all our Foundation Stage children to at least try school dinners. Children have a choice of 3 meals at lunchtime and they place their order in class when they arrive in school. They are then given a coloured band to match their dinner preference and this is handed in at the counter when they collect their freshly prepared meal.
Dinner money is collected in class every Monday morning. Each child should bring the correct amount of money, in a sealed envelope marked with their name and class. Alternatively, payments can may be made online. For more information please contact the school office.
If you are in receipt of certain benefits, your child may well qualify for free school meals. To find out, please contact the relevant department on 0161 253 5858 or email freeschoolmeals@bury.gov.uk.
We are a healthy school. Meals prepared by our catering team provide a balanced meal to support a healthy diet. We ask parents providing packed lunches not to send sweets, chocolate or fizzy drinks as part of their child's lunch. Juice or flavoured water can be included as part of a packed lunch but throughout the rest of the school day only water and fruit as snacks is permitted.
All children are given a labelled school water bottle when they join us in the Foundation Stage, which they fill up at home and bring into school each day. They can then have a drink whenever they need one.
